Framing User Experience

How does a designer sit down with data, people, emotions and needs in order to produce a solution wherever something is lacking

User

What a cold pragmatic word to describe each and every one of us who engages either with a product or service. From a design point of view, framing users means understanding whom our product or service targets. Understanding our audience helps us address needs and find unmet necessities and facilitating them.

Experience

In order to created the needed experience, a designer needs to think critically about the situation overall. What creates an unforgettable experience? Finding what appeals to a specific group of people and braking the solution down through a visual process that is easily digestible. .

My Thinking Process

Below you will find a gallery of images that illustrates my thinking process. The example analyzed is of a movie. I took notes as I was formally trained in literature for character analysis as well as plot development and other elements. I then also show you how I could best illustrate the concept of Framing User Experience.

Figma

Could a designer ask for a better platform of communication? To the left you can see an example of how easy and effective this platform can be. The overall concept of Figma is like this:

imagine a giant whiteboard

now what if you can organize all the elements added in it?

what if everyone that collaborates with you can leave feedback?

Figma is a fantastic tool to communicate certain deep concepts that would take yellow-page-book space to explain in an effective collaborative space.
